Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia is published on behalf of the Association of Veterinary Anaesthetists and the American College of Veterinary Anesthesia and Analgesia and is the official journal of the European College of Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia, the Veterinary Technician Anaesthesia Society, the Academy of Veterinary Technician Anaesthetists, and the International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management.

Next examination dates
  • Written exams will be held in HANNOVER, Germany, on Monday September 1st and Tuesday September 2nd 2014 (week 36). The local organiser is Pr Sabine Kästner (, who can be contacted regarding accommodation and meals. This year MCQ paper will be performed on computer.
  • The Oral/Practical Examination will be held at the University of Ghent, Belgium, last week in November (week 48) 2014. This year there will be no ”Spot session” anymore.

    1 July 2014: letter of final acceptance for original papers, deadline to cancel attendance to examinations
    1 September 2014: submission of residency programme (EDA/AAP)
